Day 41: Hand Carved Grasshopper Stamp

there's this little grasshopper that lives on our plumeria tree out front.  i love him to death!  he's my "pet."  i see him practically every day (since October 2010) and he lets me take his picture and talk to him, and he doesn't freak out and run away. he just sits there and looks at me.   he is even tolerant of my dog.  so here's a picture of him and a stamp that i carved in his honor. :)


(this is from November. he's a lot bigger now!)





granted, the stamp looks more like a cricket, but hey... crickets and grasshoppers are in the same family. maybe i'll try and make it skinnier next time.
