Day 40: Hello Butterfly Notecard

i think maybe February will be rubber stamping month? i got a bunch of new stamps this week and i have a whole lot that i haven't even used yet. february is also Thing-A-Day 2011 month, so i'm crafting some non-buggy things too, for that site too (though a few things will overlap). there's lots of people posting on the Thing-A-Day blog, so if you'd like to follow me there, i've got another blog for those projects here (i've linked it for today).

anyways, so i took out my new Stampin' Up clear stamp set, Nature Walk (and "hello" from the Chic Boutique set), and used the Stampin' Up Classic old olive, regal rose, and tempting turquoise ink pads. i used my Sakura Glaze yellow pen to color the flowers and the butterfly a little bit.



i'm going for more simple cards right now. i seem to over do them when i think too much, so i'm working on holding back a bit. i think they still look nice. let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions!
